Ahhhh...(that's my sigh of relief as temperatures are FINALLY below 80°). October in Charleston means midday walks (without sweating), pumpkins on every doorstep & an amazing atmosphere for picnics! Bye bye mosquitoes 👋

We are constantly amping up our home & gift section and have all you need to pack for the perfect picnic.

First up: a great blanket. Oh boy do we have some great throws! I chose the Herringbone Blue Throw with adorable cream fringe. Add some fun patterned throw pillows for comfort & the cute factor! Create an ~ambiance~ with Lafco Candles.

PLATES & GLASSWARE:

(AKA vessels for yummy food)

I loved mixing natural elements to the spread, like these Olive Wooden Plates, which you don't have to worry about accidentally breaking (I kinda have butter fingers).

Keeping with the blue/grey theme, our new Bubble Wine Glasses with a gold rim added a pop of color (even though we put Fresca inside).

Our new line of handmade pottery from Farmhouse Pottery makes adorable mugs, plus you are supporting small businesses!

Don't forget to keep your hands (and your kids') clean before & after eating - try Herban Essentials Towelettes in lavender and lemon!

KEEP IT ECO-FRIENDLY:

Picnics are one of my favorite things to do, but tend to make more of an environmental footprint than I want (paper plates, napkins, plastic silverware...). Pack your products in Porter Dishware, like the insulated water bottle and ceramic dish to eliminate the need for plastic & paper! Also - these linen napkins, wooden bowls & serving boards can be used again & again!

Plus- use Mission Essentials bug spray in case you are extra prone to bug bites (like me), it's natural formula won't harm you or your surroundings! And the best part: IT WORKS!

FUN & GAMES:

Pack a couple of games to keep your kids (or yourself) entertained! From cards, to backgammon, to dominos, anything goes!

Now for the real fun- CANDY! Although this serving board is generally used to display yummy cheeses & meats, we took a festive twist with a candy board! It's definitely Halloween appropriate but let's be honest, candy is amazing any day of the year.
