Visionary
What an adventure life is!
As I sit here and try to sum up something important to say about my life….wow what pressure! Growing up in a small town of Pennsylvania, not exactly a fashion meca. But growing up with only 2 TV stations, I developed an interested in the arts - my mother and father taught me many of handy skills. We couldn’t always afford to buy many things but we sure could find a way to make them. I am in awe of the creative process and the people who let that talent shine through!
I describe myself as a conduit…. My gift is seeing the talents of others and teaming them up with the right people to make things happen. From running professional sporting events, to coordinating weddings, to teaching a class or finding a new artist, something magic happens when you put the right group together and watch the energy just propel the group toward their goal. There is such a great feeling that comes from believing in people, giving them the tools and telling them yes you can! Don’t look down and don’t look back – visualize where we are going, focus on the goal and believe! I have seen the power of belief move mountains!
One of my New Resolutions is that this is the year of action. Out Of Hand is not a traditional “store”. It’s a place;
where I get to work with some incredible genuine women and how we come together and round eachother out,
where I have met some of my dearest friends,
where I teach a class and learn as much as I share,
where I can see the talents of others and help them start their own creative endeavors, if we share our talents we can accomplish anything.
As women, its important to learn to work together and share our talents and resources. Out Of Hand is an interactive place that is always evolving! I invite you to share ideas, send info on your friend’s talents, explore a new talent, give your dreams a try and lets see where we can do today.
